Eindhoven 7 February 2022 – Rockfield IM acquires the highest residential tower in Eindhoven for one of its investors, in accordance with the highest sustainability standards of the EU taxonomy.
Lighthouse will be a 109-meter high residential tower in Strijp-S with 333 market-rate apartments and 1,100 square meters of commercial space. The project also contributes to the highest sustainability ambitions and is fully aligned with the latest EU taxonomy.
The building contributes to CO2 reduction, boasts a high energy label of at least A++, and has a BENG -14% score. Rockfield will manage the building with its The Cohesion concept, ensuring that sustainability and social requirements are met during the operational phase. This approach secures both financial and societal returns for Rockfield’s institutional investors in the long term.
The development and realization of Lighthouse at Strijp S is a long-term collaboration between Rockfield, Spoorzone BV, and contractor Stam + De Koning Bouw BV from Eindhoven. Sustainability has been a key part of the building’s design from the outset, and it meets the highest standards.
“We are very excited to work with Spoorzone and Stam + De Koning Bouw to create a ‘best in class’ building that meets the objectives of the Paris Climate Agreement, and we expect to add more similar projects to this strategy in the near future,” says Wouter van den Eijnden, CEO of Rockfield Real Estate.
Construction begins in February 2022, with an expected completion in 2025.
