The Cohesion is a co-living concept and now has 7 locations operational in the Netherlands. Within The Cohesion we are building a cool co-living concept in metropolitan places. Our co-living concept is based on the domain of the individual (the apartment) and the common part (The communal spaces). The apartments have been developed for immediate occupancy and the communal areas have various functionalities, such as a sports room, library or cinema. At The Cohesion we believe that we can apply real hospitality in our living concept.

 

The customers at The Cohesion are the residents, they are on average between 20-35 years old, come from all over the world, have various professions and especially like to have fun. We do everything we can to offer them a comfortable stay in our properties.

 

Ideal candidate for the position of Community Manager 

 

We are looking for an energetic, enterprising and highly motivated inspirator who takes a pioneering role to put his/her location on the map. Location is Amsterdam. You will work as a Community Manager. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the further development of The Cohesion specifically at your location. You are fully responsible for the ins and outs at your location and you will be involved in 4 core tasks.

  1. Facility management; among other things, ensuring that the building and the homes look tip-top at all times, maintenance, cleaning, etc..

  2. Administration; maintaining complete tenant profiles, including repairs, payments, arrears, contract information, etc.

  3. Sales & Marketing; among other things, facilitating guided tours, answering questions, attracting new tenants, promoting your own events & services, etc.

  4. community; among other things, ensuring that residents meet each other, plan activities, supply and demand, create answers within the community, etc.

     

Education

We expect that in this (starter) position you will have more life experience than school experience, but to give an indication of what we expect.

MBO4, HBO, University degree in the field of hospitality, facility, tourism, events, economics

· Experience with many customer / guest contact

· Organizing activities and events

2-4 years of work (internship) experience as a shift leader, duty manager, hotel supervisor, assistant manager, resident manager, guest/services manager, reception team lead or a similar position
